44. Female Friday: Kathleen O'Neill Rider

Kathleen was the daughter of Lynette Bowen Rider and my favorite cousin. We are both grandchildren of Lena O'Neill Bowen.

Kathy was born on July 29, 1943, in Rochester, PA, and died much too young on April 5, 2000. She is buried in Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery in Chicago.

She is one of the dozen or so descendants of Hugh and Deborah O'Neill that I know carried the O'Neill surname as a middle name. Funny how many parents who did not have the name themselves felt it was an honor to bestow it on one of their children. [And that includes me!]
